Trashlight Vision Trashlight Vision was formed in March 2004. Acey Slade
and Roger ‘Rags’ Segal had previously worked together 8 years previously selling Punk & Rock
N’ Roll accessories. Before Slade was recruited to the Murderdolls
he overcame drug addiction with the help of future Trashlight band mate Steve
Harley. In early 2004 the Murderdolls were put on hold as guitarist
Joey Jordison returned to his other band. Acey Slade wasted no time and put the Trashlight Vision wheels into motion. Slade called up his old friends Steve
and Rags to form the band Len Thomas the drummer was brought into the band via Segal. With the line-up complete, the band started playing in New York and Philadelphia incessantly.
Word quickly spread about their explosive live show. A UK tour was booked and Trashlight Vision
received a four star ratings in a rock media magazine for their London Underworld show. To further facilitate
their cause of bringing Trashy Punk/Rock N' Roll to the masses, the band all moved into their rehearsal spot (the Trash Can)
where they have a DIY ethic. There, they make their own patches, CD's and T-shirts. The band have shared the stage with The Wildhearts. Although the band has roots
in classic Punk and Rock, they are far from 'Retro'. Trashlight Vision have released
two E.P.'s of impressive tracks which sold out quickly at shows. They are planning a full album set
for release shortly. In a sea of posers and trend-hoppers Trashlight Vision are
one of the only genuine Rock N’ Roll bands to emerge in recent times. |
